How do I share my personal calendar?

To share your personal calendar with another SCU staff member.  You can either use Webmail or the Outlook application


Permissions 

  • Full Details - will show the time, subject, location, and other details of all items in your calendar
  • Editor - will allow the person to alter the details as well in your calendar


Step 1: Log in to your email at email.scu.edu.au

Step 2: Click on the calendar icon at the bottom of your email


Step 3: Right-click on the calendar you would like to share and select Permissions


Step 4: In the new window that opens, enter the SCU email address whom you want to share your calendar with


Step 5:  From the drop-down menu, select editing permissions and click Share

Step 1: Open your Outlook Application and select the calendar icon at the bottom

Step 2: On the left-hand side, ensure that My calendars is expanded by clicking on the drop-down arrow, then right-click on the calendar, select Share, then choose Share calendar


Step 3: Type the name of the staff member you wish to share the calendar with, then click on their name once they appear in the search list. In the details box, select the level of access. Press the Send button


Step 4: Confirm details then click Yes

Step 5: The staff member will receive an email notification that your calendar has been shared with them
