What are Learning Analytics?

At Southern Cross University there are a number of different learning analytics available via Blackboard. Learning analytics are statistics that indicate student activity and engagement which makes it especially valuable for evaluation and useful for improving future delivery of a unit and student performance. The primary sources of learning analytics on Blackboard are the EesySoft Course Report, the Performance Dashboard and the Site Reports which are all available via the Evaluation section in the navigation menu of a unit site. Other learning analytics available via Blackboard include Collaborate Ultra: Session Reports, H5P: Reports and Test (Quiz): Item Analysis.
