Technology Information for External Hires/Users

The following information is provided for external users, hiring campus theatre facilities at the Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC)


For all enquiries relating to external Bookings, availability, fees, AV and technology information, security and catering;

Room A1.09 is equipped with the following AV facilities, available at the lectern position:

  • Access to 2 x Projectors & Projector Screens (Permanently mounted) 
  • AV Control Touch Panel: control AV system and functions. 
  • BYOD Laptop Connections: HDMI & VGA are supported only.
  • House PC (Accessible by CHEC Staff/Students only).
  • Video Conferencing/Collaboration Capability:

          -2 x PTZ  cameras (Permanently Mounted) for use with software based video conferencing eg. Zoom/Teams.
           Cameras accessible via House PC only.

  • Microphones:

          -1 x Lectern Hardwired Microphone.

          -1 x Wireless Lapel Microphone.

          - x Wireless Hand Held Microphones    

Room DTH.150 is equipped with the following AV facilities, available at the lectern position:

  • Access to 2 x Projectors & Projector Screens (Permanently mounted) 
  • AV Control Touch Panel: control AV system and functions. 
  • BYOD Laptop Connections: HDMI & VGA are supported only.
  • House PC (Accessible by CHEC Staff/Students only).
  • Video Conferencing/Collaboration Capability:

          -2 x PTZ  cameras (Perminantly Mounted) for use with software based video conferencing eg. Zoom/Teams.
           Cameras accessible via House PC only.

  • Microphones:

          -1 x Lectern Hardwired Microphone.

          -1 x Wireless Lapel Microphone.

          -2 x Wireless Hand Held Microphones

  • Stage / Theatrical Lighting:
    Basic Stage/theatrical Lighting control is available at the lectern AV touch panel.

Room DTH.350 is equipped with the following AV facilities, available at the lectern position:

  • Access to 3 x Projectors & Projector Screens (Permanently mounted) 
  • AV Control Touch Panel: control AV system and functions. 
  • BYOD Laptop Connections: HDMI & VGA are supported only.
  • House PC (Accessible by CHEC Staff/Students only).
  • Video Conferencing/Collaboration Capability:

          -2 x PTZ  cameras (Perminantly Mounted) for use with software based video conferencing eg. Zoom/Teams.
           Cameras accessible via House PC only.

  • Microphones:

          -1 x Lectern Hardwired Microphone.

          -1 x Wireless Lapel Microphone.

  • Audio System - JBL Control Series - Suitable for Voice and Playback re-enforcement only.
  • Stage / Theatrical Lighting:
    Basic Stage/theatrical Lighting control is available at the lectern AV touch panel.

       Additional Facilities

       Available upon negotiation with the Campus external event AV vendor:

  • Allen & Heath QU16 Audio Console
  • Jands Stage CL Lighting Console
  • 3 x Shure UHF-R Series Beta58 Wireless Microphones  

    

D Block Theatre is equipped with a flexible AV cable patch system with several field locations, facilitating temorary productions.

Patch locations feature

  • Single Mode Fibre (LC Duplex)
  • Shielded Cat6A
  • XLR Audio
  • XLR Comms
  • BNC / SDI

Room MLG.13 is equipped with the following AV facilities, available at the lectern position:

  • Access to 2 x Projectors & Projector Screens (Permanently mounted) 
  • AV Control Touch Panel: control AV system and functions. 
  • BYOD Laptop Connections: HDMI & VGA are supported only.
  • House PC (Accessible by CHEC Staff/Students only).
  • Video Conferencing/Collaboration Capability:

          -2 x PTZ  cameras (Permanently Mounted) for use with software based video conferencing eg. Zoom/Teams.

O Block Theatre is equipped with the following AV facilities, available at the lectern position:

  • Access to 1 x Projector & Projector Screen (Permanently mounted) 
  • AV Control Touch Panel: control AV system and functions. 
  • BYOD Laptop Connections: HDMI & VGA are supported only.
  • House PC (Accessible by CHEC Staff/Students only).
  • Microphones:

          -1 x Lectern Hardwired Microphone.

          -1 x Wireless Lapel Microphone.

          -1 x Wireless Hand Held Microphones    

  • Audio System - QSC Contractor Series - Suitable for Voice and Playback re-enforcement only.
