Manage Zoom Reports

The Reports section of the Zoom web portal is a powerful tool that provides various meeting statistics to review your Zoom class. Access valuable data such as who is attending your Zoom meetings with a full list of meeting participants or review student quiz results. The following article covers the use of Zoom reports.

Limitations of Zoom reports

  • Recently ended meetings may take up to 30 minutes to provide complete reports.
  • Meeting reports, such as attendee lists and polling results, can be retrieved for the last 12 months, with a search range of up to one month at a time.
  • If a meeting is not started in 30 days, expires, and is batch deleted by Zoom, the registration reports for the meeting are also deleted.

Accessing Zoom reports

  1. After running Zoom polls/quizzes, you can login to the browser platform at https://scuonline.zoom.us/ where you can select "Reports" and access detailed reports for polls/quizzes and attendance.
  2. Once you have signed in, click "Reports" from the menu on the left.

  3. Here you can choose to generate poll/quiz reports or attendance reports.

Create a poll or quiz report

  1. Ensure that you have logged into to the browser platform at https://scuonline.zoom.us/ and selected "Reports".
  2. Under the second heading, "Meeting", you will have the option to select the type of report. Select Meeting to access the meeting reports for your class.

  3. Select the second radio button option, "Poll Report". Click on the calendar icons to change the From: and To:  date range to find the meeting you wish to generate the report for.

    Date Range Search Limitations

Note that the maximum report date range is limited to one month; however, you can search across months, i.e., March 15 through to April 14.

  4. When your reports appear, click the far-right button, "Generate", and you will then be presented with an icon to "Download" or "Delete" your reports.

The results will be exported as a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. This can be opened in Microsoft Excel where you can then manage your data.

Why can't I download my report?

Make sure that the selected meeting did include a quiz or poll. Where no quiz or poll was used you will receive the following error message where the Download button is located.

The video below is a guide to accessing your reports both while in a Meeting and after the fact from the online Zoom portal (https://scuonline.zoom.us/).

  2. Once you have signed in, click "Reports" from the menu on the left.

  3. Under the first heading, "Usage", you will be able to generate your attendance reports.

  4. Click on the calendar icons to change the From: and To: date range to find the meeting you wish to generate an attendance report for. Click Search to view the results.

    Date Range Search Limitations

The maximum report date range is limited to one month; however, you can search across months, i.e., March 15 through to April 14.

You will see all available reports within the date range, and to the far-right, you will see a column labelled "Participants" which lists the number of participants in each meeting.
In the far-right of the screenshot below, you can see the three meetings listed with 9, 2, and 3 participants respectively.

  5. Click on the number listed under the Participants column for the meeting, to open a detailed window that lists all attendees.

  6. You are able to export the attendance report as a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file that can be opened in Microsoft Excel by clicking on the Export button. This file contains the names, email addresses, and duration of attendance for each respective participant.

Show unique users to get a clearer picture

By default, the report includes the duration in minutes for each instance a participant was in the main Meeting room (e.g. where their connection may have dropped out or they entered a breakout room). It is recommended to remove the duplication of names by clicking the checkbox "Show unique users".
