ReadSpeaker Widget

This article provides instructions for using the ReadSpeaker widget from inside the Blackboard website

Step 1: You must first enable Readspeaker from your Blackboard site as per this guide: How to enable and access TextAid from your Blackboard site

Step 2: For this example we are using Google Chrome.  Open the Chrome Web Store and search for the Readspeaker extension. 

Click on Add to Chrome

Step 3: Select Add Extension

For easy access, we also recommend pinning this item to your browser.

Step 4: Once Readspeak extension is pinned, click on the icon to open the widget

The Readspeak widget will look like this

Step 5: Highlight the text with your mouse and click the green play button
