Near Miss: An incident that occurred and could have resulted in an injury or illness to people, danger to health and / or damage to property or the environment.


Student Critical IncidentA traumatic event, or the threat of such, which causes extreme stress, fear, physical or psychological injury to Students and requires immediate intervention.


Student Hazard: Anything (an object, person, activity or situation) that has the potential to harm a person, the environment or cause damage to property.
